Inspired by the biological diversity of the San Marcos River, JB Public Art recently installed their LED lighting sculpture, Fish Bellies, on the Texas State University campus. Mirroring the progress of a school of fish, Fish Bellies reflects the social and communal spirit of the university’s campus. The sculpture is fully interactive and its glowing forms give way to an organic, illuminated landscape that is meant to spark interest in the region’s unique ecology and biology.
