Susana Colina is a Venezuelan designer who is now based in NYC. I don’t know much about her yet, but I have to say I’m incredibly curious after taking a look at her beautiful designs, shown here. Using soy and organic cotton, lyocell and hemp, she has a supermodern aesthetic that picks up the sorta-90s minimalism movement that’s coming up now.
According to her site:
Her early love for arts, drawing and fashion mixed with her studies in Graphic Design provided her with a rich, multi-layered background that helped shape her current style as a Fashion Designer. Her recent self-titled line based on organic fabrics represents her clean aesthetics and modern views in materials.
We’ll be keeping an eye on this new force in eco fashion!
