For CBK, the band gave us a stripped-down rendition of their song “My Ticket”.

If Robert Johnson really got his guitar from the devil at the crossroads, Tim probably sold his soul to Satan at some bodega in Brooklyn in exchange for his voice.

They’re all just captured moments in essence.

Straight jackets couldn’t stop the band from their maniacal movement on stage as though possessed by the party itself, their silhouettes like dancing shadows battling with instruments.

It doesn’t happen every day that you have access to bands in their own environment away from the stage. Backwords invited us to their Brooklyn home. To make it even more intimate, they decided to play their music all jammed up into the closet… very unplugged. We watched the footage and decided to match the concept by going ‘uncut’ using just one long take per song. So there you have it: Unplugged, uncut, and up closet and personal

With our orders placed, we waited and talked about the upcoming presidential election, Sarah’s narcolepsy problem, and the world’s bacon shortage…

It seemed almost like a secret lost ghost world lingering in a busy modern metropolis.
