Eco-Brando

Mostly styled with vintage pieces, we went and shot at Joey Scott’s house in Brooklyn. He is a real pigeon lover and owns hundreds of them.

Story and Photos by Icarus Blake - icarus@citizenbrooklyn.com

In 1954 Elia Kazan’s “On the Waterfront”, Marlon Brando plays Terry Malloy, a wanna be prize fighter with a passion for his homing pigeons and a penchant for crime. This is the inspiration for our fashion story. Mostly styled with vintage pieces, we went and shot at Joey Scott’s house in Brooklyn. He is a real pigeon lover and owns hundreds of them.
