Cary NoKey: Blinging Out With 8 Bit

If Bowie and Prince had a love child, it would be 8 Bit who is bringing the bling and the beats as the front man for Carey NoKey a new exciting band experience.

8 Bit is the performance persona of Grammy Award winning record producer Rob Fusari. The band Cary NoKey is his brainchild; he’s their pied piper of a front man, leading us back into the future. This visually exciting group mesmerizes audiences with their self-described, “carefree choruses, funky bass lines, and bad ass mashup of explosive electro-dance club.”

8 Bit and his music may be a mashup of a lot of different elements but one thing is clear, he’s all style and fashion. He’s the love child of Bowie and Prince, a musical genius with a preference for big baubles and sparkly adornments. 8 Bit’s personal style is as unique and uncompromising as his music.

Born out of late nights in New York City’s underground clubs, Cary NoKey is the space where high intensity electronic dance music intersects with emotionally-charged rock; a real hybrid of grit and glam. Fans are immediately pulled into a psychedelic interactive journey of body and mind. Think retro-future New York 80’s meets Radio Star EDM.

Says 8 Bit, “Do you remember the time back when New York City had a pulse? Where is the music of New York now? CBGB’s is gone. Nothing comes close to even resembling what we knew as Studio 54. Where is the 80’s culture, community, fashion and diversity that decade had gifted us with? In my opinion, Cary NoKey, is the first artist to authentically bring components of those incredible times, into the present.”

8 Bit has worked with legends including Timbaland, Lady Gaga and Babyface. His phenomenal crew of performers is bringing back magic and excitement mostly missing from live shows today. At a Carey Nokey performance, gorgeous, acrobatic girls descend from silks almost into the audience. Some drama with a gun ensues onstage, costumes are changed, funky dance moves executed and the audience is hooked, on their feet and left wanting more long after the stage goes black.
