Most people hate Christmas music, be it over saturated shopping playlists in stores or just another element of the overall holiday corniness. I, on the other hand, have always been a huge fan. Nothing feels right like listening to Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song”, tucked into the pad, watching the snowfall outside my window over a hot toddy. Not to mention its automatic association with “2046”, one of my favorite films of all time.

But I think we can all appreciate a good twist, a bit of the ol’ subversion, if you will. Think Eartha Kitt’s “Santa Baby”, a Christmas classic that certainly falls outside the normal moral scope of the most wonderful time of the year. So I called up my buddy Mr. Acosta, who came through like demented Sinatra after one too many glasses of Jack to sing us a little demonic lullaby formerly known as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”. So hide your kids, hide your wife, ‘cause Santa Claus is comin’ to fight.
