Tell us a little bit about your history as a photographer? When did you start and why? How have you developed since the beginning? Do you have any background in traditional photography?

I am really an amateur in photography but I like editing photos, so I got on Instagram and started taking pictures of sunsets, beaches, etc. Other than Instagram, I don’t have a background in photography but my father was a good photographer.

Give us some technical insight into your photography; what equipment do you use and which apps for shooting and post-production?

I have a Nikon d90, Nikon Coolpix and an iPhone. I generally use PS CS6 for editing photos.

When and where do you do most of your shooting?

I live on a small island (Cyprus), which is surrounded by Mediterranean Sea. That’s why I mainly capture sunsets and beaches.

Is there a purposeful mood or theme that goes deeper than the face value image?

I like colorful photos that give me good feelings.

Have you ever been to Brooklyn? What are your thoughts on it?

No, I’ve never been to Brooklyn before but I imagine it to be a colorfully lit place with lots of theater, cinema and entertainment.
